Signs you need this
- Cracks or shattered glass
- Touch works in some spots and not others
- Lines, black patches or flickering
- Screen stays black but the phone still buzzes or rings
Tell us the model and we’ll quote the replacement. We’ll check the rest of the phone while it’s open so you don’t find a second problem next week.
If you can, take off any case and screen protector before you come in. And if the glass is splintering, put clear tape over it so it doesn’t cut you.
How we fix it
- Check the damage We look at the glass, the display underneath and the frame. Sometimes only the glass is cracked, sometimes the display behind it is damaged too.
- Confirm the price You get the price for your exact model before any work starts.
- Replace the screen The damaged screen comes off, the frame is cleaned, and the new screen goes on.
- Test everything with you Touch, brightness, Face ID or fingerprint, front camera and earpiece, before you pay.
What affects the price
- Your exact model. Newer and bigger phones usually cost more.
- Whether the display underneath is damaged, not just the glass.
- Any other damage, like a bent frame or a cracked back.
Call 415-444-6959 or book online with your model and we’ll give you a price before any work starts.
Repair it or replace it?
If the rest of the phone works well, a new screen is usually much cheaper than a new phone. If the phone is old, slow or the battery is also failing, we’ll tell you honestly whether the repair is worth it.
Before you come in
- Back up your phone if you can, to iCloud, Google or a computer.
- Take off the case and screen protector.
- Have your passcode handy so you can check everything works with us after the repair.
- Bringing a laptop or tablet? Bring the charger too.

Questions about screen replacement
Can I keep using a cracked screen?
It’s a bad idea. Cracks spread, dust and moisture get in, and loose glass can cut your fingers.
Will I lose my data?
A screen replacement doesn’t normally touch your data, but back up if you can.
Can you replace just the glass?
On most modern phones the glass and the display are bonded together, so the whole screen is replaced as one part.
Will Face ID still work after a new screen?
A careful screen replacement shouldn’t affect Face ID. We test it with you before you pick the phone up.
How long does a screen repair take?
It depends on the model and whether the part is in stock. Call 415-444-6959 and we’ll tell you before you come in.
